The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. Demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision. Demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides service in accordance with NGHS philosophy, standards and policies.

The Certified Nursing Assistant/Personal Care Assistant is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs.

The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the daily well-being and safety of the individual he/she supervises. The Direct Support Professional assists the clients with all the activities of daily living, personal care and program implementation. Direct Support Professionals ensure adequate supervision of clients; assist with household tasks and house-keeping
